1) TYPE 38. Cal. 6.5 Jap. S# 57. Bbl. 30 3/4". S# 57 matches on integral receiver tang & bolt. Receiver is otherwise unmarked. Straight bolt handle w/ oval knob. Checkered lg. tang safety knob. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2400m. Inverted V front sight. 26" Cleaning rod is present. Upper band has bayonet lug. Trigger guard has integral tang. Butt swivel is stamped replacement. Buttplate is not present. Hardwood stock set. Buttstock has 1-piece construction but has been reshaped into much smaller configuration. Consignor tag stated modification was done by Phillipine freedom fighter. CONDITION: stock set has rough unfinished appearance around butt, retaining original finish forward of receiver area w/ extensive wear, dents, staining & scratches. Metal has traces of blue turning patina w/ wear, oxidation & pitting. Front guard screw is brass replacement. Bolt has appearance of late war workmanship. Poor worn pitted oxidized bore. (01-18732/RW). ANTIQUE. 2) MODEL 88 CONVERSION. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 7638. Bbl. 29 1/4". S# match on bolt & receiver. Rifle made up using Model 88 commission rifle receiver & bolt. Balance of parts including bbl., stock & trigger guard are from GEW98 Mauser. Bbl. appears to be turned fully home but has exposed threads around chamber area. Receiver marked on left side in script "Mod 88", marked on top w/ crown, "ERFURT 1889", "S" & Imperial proofs. Bbl. marked over chamber "S". Lange rear sight graduated to 2000m. Inverted V front sight. Has bayonet lug & parade hood. Walnut stock set w/ faint acceptance marks on right side of butt. Marking disk has "3". CONDITION: stock set has extensive wear & staining w/ dents & scratches throughout. Large crack behind receiver tang & sm. cracks along belly area. Handguard has crack below lower band. Metal turned overall gray & patina w/ wear, oxidation & light pitting. Trigger guard does not seat fully into inletting. Receiver & bbl. have wrench marks. Mag. is not useable due to internal configuration of Model 88 receiver rails. Extractor is not present. Heavily oxidized dark bore. (01-18733/RW). ANTIQUE. 3) SPANISH MODEL 1893 MAUSER. Cal. 7mm Mauser. S# C3322. Bbl. 29". All visible numbers match. Receiver marked on left rail "MAUSER ESPANOL MODELO 1893 MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN" & six pointed star. Receiver ring marked on top w/ Spanish crown & "BERLIN 1894". Straight bolt handle. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Front sight is not present, leaving only front sight base. Replacement cleaning rod. Matching walnut stock set. CONDITION: original finish stock set has light to moderate wear, staining & scratches throughout. Buttstock has 4 added holes at top: 1 through buttplate tang & 3 in top rear of comb. Metal has traces of original blue turning patina w/ oxidation & light wear. Dark oxidized bore. (20-2981/RW).
