3-Night Cabin Stay in Jackson Hole, WY
The cabin package for two includes three meals daily per person and clean comfortable accommodations with private shower. The cabins are adjacent to Granite Creek which provides ample habitat for cut throat trout. In addition to fishing opportunities in Granite Creek, a few miles downstream is the Hoback River which joins the Snake River at Hoback Junction. There is fantastic hiking to some of the states pristine alpine lakes or just spend a relaxing half hour or so soaking in the Granite Hot Springs, 2 miles north of the AWLS school. Surrounded by the beauty of the Gros Ventre Wilderness area within Bridger-Teton National Forest, the AWLS site at 7,000 feet elevation is only 33 miles southeast of Jackson, Wyoming. Jackson, rich in frontier history still enjoys a western home town flavor with bi-weekly rodeos, numerous wildlife art galleries, fine restaurants, trail rides and both scenic and white-water raft trips on the Snake River. The location is an ideal vacation hub for visiting either Teton or Yellowstone National Park. There is limited availability from June to August in 2019 so the voucher has been extended to include 2020. Arraingements can be made for extra days and the buyer needs to contact the education dept at SCI to confirm availability. AWLS is primarily a Wilderness Education Center so there is a set schedule when food is not available; June 13-15; July 2-4,12-14 & 22-24; and Aug 1-3. Thank you AWLS for your generous donation to LVSCI.
