1) NEW YORK STYLE HALF STOCK RIFLE BY W. BAKER. Cal. 45. NSN. Bbl. 32", stamped "W. BAKER" in cartouche on top flat behind semi buckhorn rear sight. Back spring percussion lock has some scroll engraving, but is otherwise unmarked. Dbl. set triggers fitted. Walnut half stock is iron mounted & has distinctive right hand cheekpiece. CONDITION: iron parts very dark brown patina pitted overall. Wood w/ marks, cracks & few chips in original finish is missing nose cap & bbl. bolt escutcheons. Pitted dark bore has rifling evident. Lock & triggers are operable. (01-19747/MGM).
2) GERMAN? TAKEDOWN BACKPACKING FOWLER. Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl. 32" oct. to rnd., has front portion that unscrews. Percussion lock scroll engraved. Stock w/ wooden trigger guard has removable butt section w/ bayonet type attachment bolt & sliding brass locking plate. Stock also features brass buttplate, sideplate carved in & ramrod held by brass pipes. CONDITION: bbl. w/ brown patina. Stock w/ old refinish. Butt portion very loose on frame. Rusted bore. Lock operable. (01-19748/MGM).
3) UNDERHAMMER PERCUSSION RIFLE BY M. KENDALL OF WINDSOR, VT. Cal. 40. NSN. Bbl. 24 1/2", has Kendall name & address on top flat. Underhammer action marked "SMITH'S IMPROVED PATENT STUD LOCK" on tang. Nicely figured cherry? stock w/ graceful sweep to butt is brass mounted. CONDITION: iron parts relatively smooth brown patina. Wood w/ considerable original finish has cracks & repairs in action area. Ramrod stuck in bore. Action works. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (01-19749/MGM).
