SCABBARDS. This group includes 1 saber measuring 29" in length with the bottom part of the blade missing. Brass hilt and a partial leather and wire grip. No scabbard. / 1 Saber measuring 41" in length that appears to be excavated. Brass hilt is bent and there is no remaining grip. No scabbard. / 1 Saber measuring 41 1/4" in length with a heavily oxidized blade marked “HENRY BOKER SOLINGEN”. Brass hilt with wooden grip showing partial leather. No scabbard. / 1 Blackened iron scabbard likely European in origin, measuring 32" overall with a single suspension ring. Scabbard is in good condition. / 1 Early iron scabbard that appears to be likely for an M1840 light artillery saber. Scabbard is in solid condition. / 1 Brass mounted leather scabbard missing the tip and about 4" off the bottom. CONDITION: all swords should be considered in relic condition.
