Extended slide release. Traditional 1911 style safety. Rear serrated slide. Crest beside "EJERCITO ARGENTINO" translating to Argentinian Army on right side of slide. MAGS: 1-7 rd. CONDITION: most of the original finish still resides on metal surfaces w/ a few areas experiencing thinning & brown patina. Bore is shiny w/ strong rifling. The Steyr Hahn, originally designed as a commercial offering was almost immediately put into use by Chilean & Romanian military forces. It has an internal 8 rd. mag. Exterior metal surfaces have blue finish. Grips are checkered hardwood. Blade front sight & rear notch that doubles as a serrated section of the slide to assist in charging, is nonadj. Left side slide markings include Chilean crest, S# & "STEYR 1912 MOD. 1911" & "S" above the safety. Right side markings include "EJ"RCITO DE CHILE". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 8 rd. stripper clip. CONDITION: original bluing is present throughout w/ fairly complete coverage, thinning mostly in high spots & front of the pistol grip. Grips are in decent condition overall, w/ only minor impressions on right side & a few spots w/ more character on the left. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. Decent bore w/ very well pronounced rifling. (20-991/JZ). CURIO. 3) AUTO ORDNANCE 1911 FRAME W/ BRAZILIAN ARMY SLIDE. Cal. 45 ACP. S# AOC60159. Bbl. 5".
