1) WM. MOORE SIDE LEVER HAMMER. Cal. 12 GA. S# NSN. Bbl 32 1/8". Lockplates are marked "WM MOORE & Co.", with light scroll engraving that is also present on the receiver and receiver tangs. Barrel rib is marked "LONDON FINE TWIST". Right hammer and hammer screw are replacements. Furniture is comprised of a checkered wood buttstock with a blank escutcheon, as well as a checkered wood splinter pattern forend which has a much later added white triangular plastic inlet at the tip. CONDITION: metal components exhibit a dark mottled gray patina, with areas of dark discoloration overall. Bores exhibit pitting throughout. Stock and forend are heavily smoothed from use and exhibit scattered marks from handling and storage overall. Forend bears a few losses along the edges. (23-1909/MLW). 2) BELGIAN HAMMER. Cal. 12 GA. S# NSN. Bbl 29 1/2". Left lockplate is indiscernible, with the right lockplate being stamped "MACHINE MADE". Belgian proofs on underside of barrel. Solid rib with brass bead front sight. Furniture is comprised of a checkered wood round knob buttstock and checkered forend. CONDITION: metal components exhibit a heavy dark and pitted surface overall. Bore exhibits pitting throughout. Stock and handguard show scattered marks from handling and storage, with the handguard showing a loss on the left side. (23-1915/MLW). 3) BELGIAN PROOFED MANHATTAN ARMS CO. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 176667. Damascus finished 30" w/ Pieper breech. Concave matte rib marked "PATENT 488366 DECB 20 1892" w/ brass bead. IC & Mod chokes. Sideplate action marked "MANHATTAN ARMS CO" w/ rebounding hammers, dbl. triggers, & extractors. Checkered walnut stock set. LOP: 13 3/4" to hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: metal shows traces of Damascus finish balance being a fair gray/brown patina w/ light pitting. Wood has fair varnish w/ worn checkering, cracks, scratches, dents & sm. chip at toe. Forearm has sm. hole in front of refreshed checkering. Fair worn buttplate w/ chip at toe. Fair pitted bores. Top lever is loose. Breech shows sm. gap at face & water table. Left lock appears functions. Right lock appears to not hold at full cock (gunsmith attention needed). (23-1926/MD). ALL CURIO. $200-350.
