1) H&R MODEL 65. Cal. 22 LR. S# 9919. Bbl. 23" heavy w/ protected blade front sight of U.S. military style; Redfield 70 Series rear sight & no provision for bbl. rear sight. Mfg. 1944-1945 as civilian version of Model 58C that would have U.S. markings. Often referred to as General Model & like 58C training rifle has buttstock dimensions identical to M1 Garand. Smooth gray parkerized finish. Rudimentary spring loaded push button hold open latch. Cocking accomplished by finger activation of operating rod in bottom of forend by same manner as H&R Reising machine gun. Robust stamped metal trigger guard & grooved metal buttplate. Military style swivels having M1 carbine canvas web sling. MAGS: 1 good factory 10 rd. CONDITION: very good overall appearance w/ very minimal wear to metal finishes having peppery stained appearance to section of bbl. forward of forend. Stock has minor light marks appearing mostly on right side of butt. Near excellent bore. (20-389/NW). 2) J.C. HIGGINS MODEL 30. Cal. 22 LR. NSN. Bbl. 24" having ramp front sight & elevator adj. sporting rear. Mfg. by High Standard for Sears who marketed it under Higgins name. Same as HS Sport King Model w/ distinct Sears features to include: semi beavertail forend w/ panels extending over sides of receiver, jeweled bolt, buttstock w/ white line grip cap & special feature of retractable red sling originating at rear of buttstock & quick attaching to front bbl. band. Tube feed mag. w/ aluminum inner tube. Grooved alloy receiver fitted w/ J.C. Higgins Rifleman 4X scope & w/ crosshair reticle. CONDITION: very good to excellent w/ only minimal light marks on stock set. Near excellent bore. (20-392/NW). 3) WINCHESTER MODEL 1910 S.L. Cal. .401 Win. S# 2831. Bbl. 20" having dovetail bead in integral base plus thumb print elevator adj. rear w/ top filed flat. Mfg. 1910 (1910 to 1937); 20786 units. MAGS: 1 very good factory 4 rd. CONDITION: metal finishes mixture of patina & cleaned oxidation. Forend has 2 1/2" crack on right side at front plus 5/8" band of epoxy around midpoint for stability. Couple of hairline cracks at rear near receiver. Refinished forend. Dark buttstock w/ numerous handling marks, chips & dents plus screw repaired elliptical chip on right front. Fair bore w/ wear & cleaned pitting. (20-404/NW). ALL CURIO. $650-900.
