3 WINDSOR VERMONT LONGARMS.

1) ROBINS & LAWRENCE 1850 DATED MISSISSIPPI RIFLE. Cal. 56 smooth bore. NSN. Bbl. 33". This rifle is in original config. w/ brass tipped ramrod, shortened post war for use as fowler, sling swivels removed, lead nose cap added & originally a soldered on ramrod pipe added (which is now missing). CONDITION: good to very good overall.
2) D. H. HILLIARD CORNISH, NEW HAMPSHIRE FOWLER. Cal. 69. NSN. Bbl. 42”. 58” overall. Bbl. marked at breech “D. H. HILLIARD / CORNISH / N.H.” The lock is 1856 dated “WINDSOR”. Fowler is half stock, all brass mounted, ribbed bbl. for wood ramrod, ornate brass trigger guard & sideplate. CONDITION: good to very good overall, smashed nipple. Mechanically fine w/ clear, smooth bore.
3) ROBINS & LAWRENCE 1850 DATED MISSISSIPPI RIFLE. This rifle was restocked after the Civil War for continued use w/ a button from a 2 piece eagle buckle applied as decorate thumb plate. Stock is crudely carved but well patinated. 1877 Is stamped in the trigger guard, possibly being the date converted. Mechanically functional w/ clear, rifled bore. PROVENANCE: Windsor, Vermon estate collection. (01-20009/JS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500.
