3 WWII GERMAN VISOR CAPS.

1) LUFTWAFFE. This enlisted visor cap has a gray crown with a black band. It is piped in yellow throughout. There is a zinc Luftwaffe eagle at the front of the crown along with a zinc winged wreath & a central national cockade at the front of the band. Black visor with black leather chinstrap terminated by black pebble finished buttons. Gray sweatband with missing sweatshield. Light gray rayon lining. CONDITION: cap shows significant use with a small hole in the top of the crown. Visor & chinstrap show some crazing to the finish. Cap is a bit misshaped. Sweatband & crown show moderate wear with ample sweat stains.
2) PIONEER. This enlisted visor cap has a green crown with a forest green band. It is piped in black throughout. There is a silvered Army eagle at the front of the crown with an aluminum wreath & a central national cockade at the front of the band. Black visor with black leather chinstrap terminated by gold pebble finished buttons. Dark brown sweatband with & rounded diamond shaped sweatshield. Size marking "58 1/2" is stamped under the sweatshield. Dull orange cotton lining. CONDITION: cap shows minor mothing to the crown. There is some wear & crazing to the visor & chinstrap. Sweatband shows staining but is complete. Sweatshield is 85% complete.
3) NAVY. This high ranking officer's visor cap has a black crown & a black band. It is piped in black on the crown. There is a gold bullion Navy eagle at the front of the crown along with a gold bullion wreath & a central national cockade at the front of the band. Black visor with gold bullion oak leaves & a black leather chinstrap terminated by gilded Navy buttons. Tan sweatband with diamond shaped sweatshield. Sweatshield is marked in gold on the underside, "A G (lighthouse) KIEL Eingetr. Schutzm. AUG. GEIGER Kiel Danische-Str. 24". This hat also has a name on paper in the sweatshield that may read, "W. Karnssefmark", but the script is difficult to discern. Royal blue rayon lining. CONDITION: cap shows light wear overall but could use a good blocking. (02-17092/BF). $1,200-1,600.
