4 ANTIQUE LONGARMS.

1) SPRINGFIELD 1842 PERCUSSION FOWLER. Cal. 69. NSN. Bbl. shortened to 32" w/ socket type bayonet having a 13 1/2" triangular blade that is rusted in place. 1855 Dated Springfield lock. Stock is cut to fowler/sporter length forward of rear band. Stock retains iron trigger guard, buttplate & sideplate. CONDITION: metal has dark rusty appearance w/ general pitting becoming heaviest in breech area. Stock has age darkened appearance w/ numerous dents, handling marks & cracks w/ lg. chips missing above & below lock. Hammer screw is missing. Nipple is beaten down. Dark heavily rusted bore. (01-19833/DS).
2) BRITISH PROOFED PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 14 Ga. NSN. Bbls. 31 1/2" of Twist steel. Engraved back action locks. Wedge fastened straight grip stock w/ checkered wrist w/ iron trapdoor buttplate, trigger guard & rear sling swivel. Replacement button tipped iron ramrod. CONDITION: metal has dark patina appearance w/ rust & surface corrosion. Stock has dark weathered appearance w/ worn checkering having numerous scratches, dents, marks & chips. 2 Screw attached metal plates are repairing break through the lock & trigger guard area. Hammers are not cocking properly. Dark pitted bores. Right bbl. has a deep dent 10" from the muzzle.
3) WILIAM REED PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Bore. NSN. Bbls. of Twist Steel are cut to 18 1/2". Engraved back action locks & bbl. rib are marked "WILLIAM REED BOSTON". Top tang, trigger guard & buttplate peak are engraved to match the locks. Wedge fastened straight grip walnut stock w/ checkered wrist & engraved thimble. German silver key escutcheons & oval in toeline. Replacement hardwood ramrod held by single iron pipe. CONDITION: metal has a dark patina coloration w/ dents & spots of pitting. Nipples are rusty & plugged. Dark pitted bores. Stock is broken through wrist w/ epoxy repair & touched up checkering & finish. Long tang trigger guard is broken through front screw hole. (01-19834 (2)/DS).
4) PERCUSSION FOWLER CONVERSION 1816 US SPRINGFIELD. Cal. 69. NSN. Bbl. shortened to 29" fowler length. 1827 Dated Springfield lock. Stock is cut to fowler length forward of rear band. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 2 3/8" iron ring w/ 6 hooks & sm. section of chain hung from swivel at front of trigger guard. CONDITION: metal is heavily rusted & pitted. Stock is heavily weathered & worn w/ dry rot removing a lg. area along toe area of buttplate. Dark heavily pitted bore. (01-19835/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $500-900.
