4 CIVIL WAR ERA BELTS & BUCKLES.

1) US enlisted belt w/ oval lead filled US buckle & brass keeper. This belt obviously saw use & “as found”, it is not the typical surplus usually offered. CONDITION: very good, buckle has mottled brass patina & bend at the outer edge, belt is sound & solid & a bit stiff & dry.
2) Model 1832 artillery belt w/ scarce interlocking two piece US buckle, complete w/ frog to attach model 1832 short sword. CONDITION: fair overall, buckle is very good w/ dark grungy patina, belt is complete though dry & stiff w/ staining & soiling.
3) Model 1850 officer’s sword belt plate attached a brown leather belt marked inside “ Lt Anson W”. Brown leather belt most likely postdates the Civil War but buckle appears wartime measuring 84mm x 52mm not counting the keeper which fits perfectly. CONDITION: very good overall.
4) Belt w/ 3 piece snake buckle, brass keepers & reinforced brass strap hooks. CONDITION: good overall. (02-15474/JS). $1,000-1,200.
