Byron Hart African Safaris
Byron Hart has donated this classic African hunt for a non-trophy hippo on the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. This is a non-exportable hippo. Byron Hart African Safaris (BHAS) is a young company with definitive experience in the hunting industry spanning the last 21 years. BHAS has grown in strength by providing its clients with professional, personal and quality hunting safaris and tours to some of the best destinations suited to the individual hunter’s requirements and expectations. Join us, and together we’ll take a journey of passion for the outdoors and the pursuit of fair & ethical chase, with a level of eminence surpassing the competitors, and with accountability to the environment, the areas and its inhabitants. This great hunt is for 4 days and includes the game fee for the non-trophy hippo! 15% VAT tax is not included if non-trophy is taken and not upgraded to a trophy hippo. Hunt can be upgraded to a trophy hippo ($3,750) and any game animals available in the area. Please contact Byron for additional hunt information. Hunt can be taken in 2026 (limited), 2027 or 2028. Additional hunters can be added for $1460 per day (dangerous game) or $650 per day (plains game) plus additional guide (talk to Byron) along with non-hunters at $220 per day. Not included: gun permit (free if flying into Nambia); trophy transport (all trophies must be quarantined from Caprivi, not expensive including transport to local taxidermist) and dipping/packing (local taxidermist will handle). Your arrival/departure point will be Katima Mulilo, Namibia (MPA). Accommodations are included. Extra accommodation might be needed depending on flight connections and are not included.
