1) SGIAN DUBH IN SCABBARD. Overall length: 7 3/4”. Blade length: 3 1/4". Plain blade w/ single fuller & 5 notches in the top. Bog oak grip carved in a knot pattern. Engraved silver ferrule & pommel. Black leather covered scabbard w/ engraved silver throat & tip. Back of throat reads, “MADE IN SCOTLAND” w/ maker’s mark “T.E”. There are also 4 standard Scottish purity hallmarks. CONDITION: blade shows a few areas of cleaned oxidation. Hilt & scabbard show light wear. (02-13560/BF). 2) SPANISH FOLDING KNIFE. Overall length closed: 8 7/8”. Overall length open: 16 1/2". Blade is stamped “VALERO JUN ZARAGOZA”. Handle is brass & steel set w/ 8 semi-precious agate stones. CONDITION: knife shows light wear overall. (02-13561/BF). 3) HUNGARIAN DAGGER. Overall length: 14 5/8”. Blade length: 8”. A M1932 Hungarian Royal Air Force officer’s dagger. This model is gold gilted signifying it was for an officer. Plain blade that is diamond in cross section down to the ricasso. Eagle cross guard & eagle head pommel. Reeded wood grip. Gilded brass scabbard w/ Hungarian Arms. CONDITION: blade shows light polishing & light sharpening. Grip & scabbard show light wear w/ some loss of finish. Grip has expected scuffs & scrapes. (02-13566/BF). 4) JAPANESE TANTO. Overall length: 11”. Blade length: 7 5/8”. A tanto likely dating from the later half of the 19th century. Plain blade w/ wavy hamon. Silvered brass habaki. Silvered brass fuchi & kashira. Grip appears to be fine wrapped cord w/ a single dragon menuki on either side. Saya is silvered brass w/ engraved bamboo plants. CONDITION: blade has a light gray finish. Grip is a bit worn. Blade is a bit loose in the saya. (02-13573/BF). $700-1,100.
