1) Overall length: 38 1/2". Blade length: 25". Single fullered blade is etched over half its length w/ various foliate & patriotic motifs. Blade does not appear to be maker marked. German silver hilt w/ lion’s head pommel. Embellished backstrap w/ plain knuckle bow & guard. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip. Black painted iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a mottled appearance w/ some pitting & appears to have been shortened. Hilt shows light to moderate wear. Scabbard appears to be repainted & shows evidence of being bent. (02-15214/BF).
2) Overall length: 38". Blade length: 33 1/8". Plain single fullered blade is etched on the spine, “PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO SOLINGEN”. Nickeled bird’s head pommel hilt w/ plain backstrap, knuckle bow & guard. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows some original factory polish. Hilt shows light overall wear. (02-15217/BF).
3) Overall length: 39". Blade length: 33 1/4". Single fullered blade marked at the ricasso w/ back to back squirrels & “C.E.”. Blade is etched on a 6 3/4" panel w/ foliate motifs w/ Bavarian crests & the words, “IN TREUE FEST.” Brass hilt w/ folding guard featuring a Germanic eagle w/ royal cipher on the chest. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip w/ the same royal cipher attached. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows some original factory polish. Hilt shows light overall wear. (02-15226/BF).
4) Overall length: 38 1/2". Blade length: 32". Plain single fullered blade marked at the ricasso, “A C (scale) S”. Brass bird’s head pommel hilt w/ plain backstrap, knuckle bow & guard. Wire wrapped composite grip. A reproduction green & silver bullion sword knot is attached. Anodized iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows substantial original factory polish. Hilt shows light wear. Scabbard has a few minor shallow dents & original finish. (02-15269/BF). $700-1,000.
