1) SPRINGFIELD 1898 KRAG BOLT ACTION PARADE. Cal.30-40 Krag. S# 188137. Bbl. 30". Standard infantry rifle w/ parts chrome plated for use as a drill/parade rifle. 1902 Sight leaf is broken at windage screw & rear of sight is not present. Blade front sight. Walnut stock set. Trap buttplate has scratched number “599” & “ARGONNE". CONDITION: stock has been varnished obscuring inspector’s marks, has moderate wear, dents & scratches & has extensive crack on both sides of buttstock extending from grip to heel area. Plated metal has scratches, wear & flaking. Good shiny bore w/ light wear to lands. (20-4375/RW). CURIO. 2) BRAZILIAN DWM MODEL 1908 BOLT ACTION. Cal. 7x57 Mauser. S# B2179. S#’s match on receiver, stock & trigger guard. Bbl. 29 1/4". Receiver marked on left rail “DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN”. Receiver ring marked on top w/ Brazilian crest & marked on right side "MOD & 1908". Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Inverted “V” front sight. Turned down bolt handle. Cleaning rod bayonet bar & parade hook are present. Bottom swivels, detachable rear swivel is present. Black web sling. Walnut stock set. Buttstock marked on right side w/ encircled six-pointed star. Unmarked steel marking disk. Partial non encircled 6 pointed star. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ extensive wear, staining, dents & scratches. Noticeable missing chips of wood around buttplate at heel. Stock has extensive cracks on both sides in area of recoil bolt. Grip has cracks at top & bottom. Metal has traces of blue turning overall gray & patina. Crest is worn. Good, shiny bore w/ lightly worn lands. (20-4379/RW). CURIO. 3) RUSSIAN 91/30 SPORTERIZED BOLT ACTION. Cal. 7.62 x 54R. S# 16186. Bbl. 22 3/8". Hex receiver. Bbl. marked over chamber w/ arrow in star indicating mfg. at Tula arsenal. Bbl. dated 1936. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Blade front sight. Shortened hardwood stock w/ added 1" sling swivels. CONDITION: stock has moderate wear, dents, staining & scratches throughout. Metal retains 60% original bluing w/ thinning wear. Dark bore w/ lightly worn lands. (20-4380/RW). MODERN. 4) ST. ETIENNE 1890 BERTHIER RIFLE WWI BOLT ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 8 mm Lebel. S# F89804. Numbers match on receiver, bbl. & trigger guard. Bbl. 17 3/4". Receiver marked on left side “St. Etienne Mle 1890 MD". Receiver ring & bbl. marked w/ “N”. Bbl. marked on right side “MA C1920”. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Inverted “V” front sight. Turned down bolt handle. Upper band has bayonet lug. 5 Shot mag. Walnut stock. Buttstock has provision for side sling. Sling bar is not present. Forend cleaning rod slot has hardwood filler. Cleaning rod retaining spring is not present. CONDITION: stock has moderate wear, dents, staining & scratches. Stock has notable missing chip at end of filler piece. Metal turning overall gray & patina w/ traces of blue w/ wear, scratches & scattered light pitting. Bore turning dark w/ lightly worn lands.
