ARSENAL MOLD.
1) Frankford Arsenal 1895 dated 30 caliber ball 5 cavity mold. S#23. This specialty mold was for gallery practice rounds to be used with the 30-40 Krag. Inspection marked "CHC" . Mold of brass construction with blued sprue plate, and wooden handles. CONDITION: very good intact condition with light patina on brass light patina and whereon plate with good appearing grips.
2) Unmarked 3 cavity mold. Mold brass construction having caliber 31 bullet measuring 1 inch in length with flat point. Blued sprue plate cuts bullets when opened. Wood handles. CONDITION: while mold is intact exterior shows numerous impressions, dark patina, and light scratches. Fair handles appearing reattached large cracks, gouges and impressions.
3) Ideal 4 cavity mold "marked "U 3118" & "203". Mold is designed for 32-20 WCF. CONDITION: mold, handles & plate a good serviceable condition with pinprick oxidation and light handling marks.
4) Lyman "457483" four cavity mold; designed to be used with 45 – 70 Govt. CONDITION: mold, plate and metal parts in good serviceable condition with light patina and peppery oxidation throughout. Left handle has large cracks; good overall varnish. PROVENANCE: Estate of Frank Glenn Marsh. (02-17061-1/MD). $300-500.
