Smith & Wesson Model 49 double action revolver, .38 Special caliber, Serial #J366429. The pistol is in excellent overall condition with a 2” pinned barrel and shrouded hammer. The pistol retainsapproximately 98%-99% of the blue finish with a faint drag line on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger show muted case hardening. The checkered wood medallion grips are in very good condition with sharp checkering,showing little use. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp.
