This hunt is donated by Makadi Safaris in Namibia - family owned and operated by Diethelm and Katja Metzger and their family. Diethelm grew up on the hunting property and has hunted all his life. This area in central Namibia reveals the natural beauty of Africa’s mountains and sweeping plains where numerous herds of magnificent animals graze. This is an excellent first African hunt or, for the old hand at African hunts it is a great location to fill out your African species.
Makadi Safaris offers a wide range of species including Kudu, Oryx (Gemsbuck), Hartebeest, Springbok, Warthog, Common Duiker, Steenbuck, Damara Dik-dik, Mountain & Burchell's zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, Black & Blue Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Sable antelope, Roan antelope, Eland, Giraffe, Baboon, Jackal, Waterfowl and Gamebirds. Hunting of other species can be arranged on request.
You can fill your African trophy room on this hunt! All game animals are part of a successful and effective management program which has been in effect for more than 50 years.
Non hunters or additional hunters may accompany at current rates.
This hunt includes 5 days at the Kamab Lodge or the Ilala Private Game Reserve for 2 hunters including a gemsbuck fee for each. Meals, accommodations, transportation during hunt, laundry service, field preparation of trophies plus the services of a licensed PH, expert tracker, and skinners are all included. Hunt with rifle, shotgun, bow, or muzzleloader.
Not included: Travel to/from Windhoek International Airport; airport transfers ($450 per vehicle); hunting license and insurance ($170); dipping and shipping of trophies; and gratuities. Firearm rental available at $40/day with ammo at cost.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard item merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction. Any item not paid for or claimed after payment will be returned to CA WSF for disposition.

The following provisions will apply to Bidders participating in online bidding:
California Wild Sheep Foundation (“CA WSF”), is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization and was formed to promote and enhance increasing populations of indigenous wild sheep to California, to safeguard against the decline or extinction of such species, and to fund programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum. The items, trips, and “Conservation Permits” being offered for sale were allocated to CA WSF by the California Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the Alaska Dept of Fish and Game and other third parties.
Any bid made at a CA WSF online auction constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase and requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction, or upon terms mutually agreed upon by CA WSF and the bidder, prior to the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the seventh business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 percentage point per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late.
CA WSF strongly encourages Conservation Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the state of the permit. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, DOB, Credit card number. Your address will be verified by anAddress Verification System. All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from CA WSF Auction Team for verification. PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL 3% PROCESSING FEE. Credit Card purchases can be processed through the CA WSF website www.cawsf.org.

AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE Online bidding is now open and will close, in 10-minute increments, on Saturday, May 2nd beginning at 7:00 p.m. If a bidder places a bid within 2 minutes of the item closing then the items life will be extended for 2 minutes. This can happen up to 4 times.
