DONATION: This is a 5-day Alaskan spring black bear hunt over bait for 2 hunters. Sue is encouraging women to consider this hunt with their daughter or son to introduce more female and kids into hunting. This is a great opportunity for a parent or family member especially a mother/daughter or parent/child to hunt bears at close range. Sue Entsminger & son, Matt Snyder, are owners of Alaska Hunting Adventures. Matt books fall hunts and specializes in Tok Management Area Sheep where he was raised. Sue books the spring bear hunts. This hunt is for 2 hunters guided by Sue Entsminger, Wild Sheep Foundation’s own Artemis Award winner in 2016. This area has 40-50% color phase blacks ranging from chocolate to blonde.
DATES: This hunt must be scheduled for May or June 2023 and cannot be delayed.
ADD ONS: Grizzly bear for 1 of the hunters can be added for an addition $11,500 which moves hunt to 8-day hunt.
ADDITIONAL HUNTERS: Contact Sue for availability.
ADDITIONAL NON-HUNTERS: Welcome for $325 per day, but kids under 16 are free.

We assist in all these arrangements. Alaska has meat salvage requirements. We can help you if you wish to take any meat home or you can transfer possessions to us.
Guides/outfitters Matt Snyder & his folks Sue and Frank Entsminger are a family operation committed to welcoming the hunters to their wilderness setting. They have lived next to the Tok Management Area (TMA) in the Eastern Alaska Range since 1977 & hunted since 1969. Every hunt is custom designed to meet your specific needs. All the sweat and hard work will be worthwhile when you finally connect on the trophy that you’ve always dreamed about, taken in the true spirit of fair chase. You will come as a client, but you’ll leave as a friend.
