Ranch access via pickup, ATV, side-by-side will put this Warrior within rifle range for a (free-range) bighorn ram. Out of a minimum population of at least 130 bighorn sheep, there are several mature management bighorn rams from which a selection will be made.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Lodging & Meals furnished by the Pacheco Ranch, in their ranch “hunting camp”. Look at these lush accommodations!
SPECIAL NOTES: The Warrior selected for this management hunt will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to harvest a mature management (free-range) bighorn ram (i.e., one-horned ram; broken-horned ram, etc.), designated by the private landowner.
VALUE: PRICELESS! It’s impossible to put a value on what this opportunity would mean to a WWO Warrior! The man or woman Warrior selected for this management hunt may never be able to hunt a wild ram, anywhere else. Help make this dream come true for a Warrior!

Through the generosity of the Pacheco, Wedding Cake, and Black Mesa Ranches, and in full collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, this private-land hunting authorization is exclusively being made available to WWO and one of its Warriors through the Wild Sheep Foundation!

This is a 100% donation from these 3 ranches, to provide an opportunity for a wounded Warrior, and to benefit bighorn sheep in New Mexico. THANK YOU to the Pacheco, Wedding Cake, and Black Mesa Ranches for your generosity!!

Proceeds from this hunt will be split between the New Mexico Wild Sheep Foundation and the Wild Sheep Foundation, for their mission programs. WWO was offered a portion of the proceeds from this hunt, but declined any funding, stating:

“Wounded Warrior Outdoors feel very honored to be part of the Wild Sheep Foundation family! Just the opportunity for a warrior to hunt sheep is far more than we could ever ask for. It is also very important that our warriors continue to serve post-injury, to preserve and protect what they value most. Wildlife conservation and hunting, especially wild sheep, is a privilege we will always do our best to support.”
