This fully donated hunt is a 5-day duck and grouse combo hunt over retrievers and pointing dogs in Kapuskasing, Ontario for 1 hunter. If our hunter has their own retriever and or pointing dog, they are encouraged to bring it along. Winner is encouraged to bring additional hunters cost is $2250. Lodging (8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms), meals (breakfast, sack lunch and home-style dinner), guides with retrievers and pointing dogs. We hunt ducks and geese in large rice bays on the famous Kap river, the 1st staging area for birds coming off James Bay. The numerous lakes and rivers in this part of Northern Ontario also have plenty of wild rice which attract and hold large numbers of blacks and mallards and many other species such as widgeon, teal, pintail woodies, etc. There are plenty of divers: ring bill lesser scaup, golden eye etc. We also hunt local grain fields. The Kapuskasing area, with its mixed forests of pine, birch and aspen are perfect for excellent numbers of ruffed grouse as well as sharp tail and spruce grouse. Expect 7 to 10 flushes an hour on average. This is a shotgun hunt, no draw required, 1 hunter, must be used in 2023 or 2024, dates are September 10 through November 10th, Includes lodging and meals. Does not include your transportation to and from the lodge or your hunting license.

Any bid made during this online auction for the National Deer Association (NDA) constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase and requires that the bid amount be paid at the close of the auction. Shipping & Handling:
The National Deer Association (NDA) will contact every winner by email or phone for details on setting up proper shipping, hunt information, FFL, or other necessary arrangements once payment is received. Please note, it may take 7 to 10 days after receiving your payment before NDA contacts you to make arrangements; however, all efforts will be made to make contact with you as soon as possible.
Shipping costs for physical items to be sent to your desired address will be added to the final price for all items unless otherwise specified. Payment must be received through the online auction payment platform, PayPal, or by contacting NDA directly prior to the item being shipped.
Firearms:
NDA will contact the winner of firearms to request a Federal Firearms License (FFL) information for shipping. All firearms winners must receive their purchased firearms through a local FFL and pass all appropriate Federal, State, and/or local background checks and permitting as required by their local laws.
