Hunt New Zealand’s premier mountain game animal, the Himalayan Bull Tahr! This hunt will occur on large private ranches, free-ranging, during the rut of May 2027 through July 2027 when the bulls gather harems of nannies.
See the bulls pose and posture by puffing up their magnificent manes to impress and intimidate their rivals. With acute eyesight, great sense of smell, and hearing, the Himalayan Tahr offers a challenging and rewarding hunt. Mature bulls often weigh around 300 pounds and most shots are taken around 300 yards.

INCLUDED:
*This hunt for one hunter and includes one Himalayan Bull Tahr in the South Island of New Zealand.
*The hunt is scheduled for the rut during May-July 2027. Hunt on over 60,000 acres of free range high country ranch land for a trophy Himalayan Bull Tahr with master guide and legendary outfitter Jason Kidd. The terrain is mostly open grassland with some brush and timber in the gullies. Moderate to steep hills and foothill mountains require a good level of fitness. The area has good 4x4 access into the hunting area with spot and stalk hunting style utilized. A healthy population of Tahr produces quality mature bulls consistently.
*Accommodation is ranch house/cabin, warm and comfortable, with all meals and beverages supplied.
*The hunt includes airport/hotel pickup and return (Christchurch), all road /4x4 transport during the hunt, guiding/outfitting, trophy fee for on Bull Tahr, field prep of trophy and delivery to expediter, hunter may borrow quality rifle if desired/reqd (no rental fee required), fishing gear, govt taxes.

Shipping arrangements/payments are solely between winning bidder, the shipper of their choice and/or donors. DSC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until DSC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.

BIDDER AUTHORIZES DSC Texas Gulf Coast TO CHARGE BIDDER’S CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT (PLUS BUYER'S PREMIUM) OF EACH SUCCESSFUL BID PLACED BY BIDDER IMMEDIATELY UPON THE CLOSE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL SALE. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED. No payments will under any circumstances be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified bidder. Bidders’ names and addresses to which the merchandise must be delivered may not be changed after date of sale.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC Texas Gulf Coast will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC Texas Gulf Coast may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium of 5% on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. DSC Texas Gulf Coast reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. DSC Texas Gulf Coast reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through DSC Texas Gulf Coast are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC Texas Gulf Coast, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC Texas Gulf Coast. 9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSC Texas Gulf Coast will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC Texas Gulf Coast or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC Texas Gulf Coast does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSC Texas Gulf Coast may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. Any hunt, fishing trip or membership purchased in this auction cannot be sold, raffled or bartered without the written consent of DSC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.
