A Trip of a Lifetime. Many trips tout this but this one is it. The 1.5 million acre Bob Marshall Wilderness is considered by many to be the crown jewel of America’s wilderness system. It contains the valleys, lakes and streams that make up the headwaters of several rivers including the South Fork of the Flathead River. Elevations vary from 4000’ to 9000’. The breathtaking scenery, wildflowers, and wildlife make for memories that will last a lifetime. On most trips, guests see grizzly bears, black bears, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elk, moose, mule deer, and even the occasional wolverine. Bring a nice camera!
The Bob Marshall is also a fisherman's paradise with world-class fishing for native cutthroat on the South Fork Flathead River and its tributaries. Alpine lakes, glacial streams, and the main rivers offer a wide opportunity for novice and expert alike. With an abundance of trout lying in wait in the cold, clear waters, it is truly a memorable experience.

Your hosts and guides will be Richs’s Montana Guest Ranch who have been outfitting and guiding in “The Bob” for over 60 years.

Other than tips, everything is covered in this trip including shuttle from Missoula airport and pre-trip and post-trip lodging at the ranch.
