Join Scott for this exciting 5-day, 2:1 black bear hunt, for one hunter, in the Omineca backcountry of British Columbia. Black bears are plentiful, with boars ranging up to 7 feet. In the spring the bears have just come out of hibernate and their fur is thick and lush. You will be hunting by riverboat, 4x4 truck, 4-wheel drive ATV’s, and on foot, spot and stalk style. Donated by Bowron River Guiding., this adventure is valued at $4,995 USD. This trip is scheduled for June 2020. We run Monday to Friday, you pick your dates.
The Pichette family has been in operation since 1964 and members of the Guide Outfitters Association of BC for 50+ years. Scott and Lynn are the second generation guiding for over 38 years.
You can upgrade this hunt to include an additional black bear for $2,000 USD. Accommodations, meals and guide service are all included. An additional hunter may come along for $4,995 USD; observers for $250 per day. Any before/after trip expenses (hotel accommodations), export permits, hunting licenses and species tag, Wildlife Conservation Fee, royalties and gratuities are not included. We recommend that you drive to Prince George, where we will meet you, and then from there drive out to our lodge.

Successful bidders will be charged the total amount of their successful bid, plus the 5% online buyers premium and 5% GST upon the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made. Contact the office at 1-877-818-2688 for further information.

The values placed on all auction items have been provided by the donors. GOABC has no responsibility or control over these values. GOABC does not act as an agent for, or represent, either the buyer or seller, but merely provides an environment for binding together the buyer and seller for sales transactions.
Special arrangements other than what is set forth are expressly between the donor and the bidder. All hunts/trips are non-transferrable unless negotiated between the buyer and the donor.
Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described on www.onlinehuntingauctions.com. Trips must be taken within the dates specified. Buyers relieve GOABC of any liability relating to changes made by donor. GOABC reserves the right of refusal of the bid on any item that does not meet 50-70% of market value. Unless otherwise specified, licences, tags, royalties, and Wildlife Conservation Fund (WCF) (previously known as the Hunting Preservation Fund) are at the expense of the successful bidder.
All goods and services are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of GOABC.
All auction bids will be in Canadian funds unless otherwise noted prior to the auction. Successful bidders must sign an auction receipt as soon as the auctioneer accepts the final bid on the article. In the case of a disputed bid, the bid may be reopened at the discretion of the auctioneer, whose decision is final.
Payment for auction items can be made by cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa or Amex. The 5% GST will be added to the final bid of all items. The 5% Online Buyers Premium for the online winning bidders will be added to the final bill of those items and payments will be processed by the www.onlinehuntingauctions.com site. Title to merchandise remains with GOABC until payments have cleared.
Any disputes regarding auction items purchased during the GOABC fundraiser shall be submitted to the GOABC office in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute. The GOABC Board of Directors may, in its discretion, approve an auction credit, deny relief, or in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund. GOABC auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the donor or buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in its online listing.
