1) CARL EICKHORN PRIVATE PURCHASE DRESS 1898 A/A BAYONET. Overall: 26". Blade 20 3/4" nickel plated w/ Carl Eickhorn of Solingen double squirrel logo on right ricasso. Bright blade. Nickel plated crossguard & pommel. One piece grooved wood grip. Leather scabbard w/ metal tip & throat, leather frog w/ knot. CONDITION: good bayonet w/ some light wear, patina & peeling nickel. Good intact scabbard w/ traces of nickel on tip & throat. Good frog . Fair knot w/ brown staining & fraying.
2) ERFURT "99" DATED 1898 N/A LONG BAYONET. Overall: 26". Blade 20 3/4". 2 Piece grooved wood grips. Leather scabbard w/ metal tip & throat. CONDITION: fair patina metal bayonet finish w/ fair worn wood grips. Edge has been sharpened. Fair intact scabbard w/ patina metal & flexing leather.
3) C. G. HAENEL SUHL 1898 N/A LONG BAYONET. Overall: 26". Blade 20 3/4". 2 Piece grooved wood grips. Leather scabbard w/ metal tip & throat. Replacement Dresden 1935 black leather frog. CONDITION: fair bayonet w patina, sharpened edge, worn grips & dark lightly pitted crossguard & pommel. Fair scabbard w/ cracking, brown oxidation on tip. Fair frog w/ cracks.
4) JUNG & S. SUHL MODEL 1871 REGIMENTALLY MARKED BAYONET WITH MATCHING SCABBARD. Overall: 23 3/4". Blade: 18 1/2"; spine has proofs & "74" date. Double curved quillon crossguard & brass scabbard throat regimentally marked "119.R.4.225". Brass bird's head handle w/ grooves on right side. Leather scabbard w/ brass tip & throat. CONDITION: fair bayonet w/ patina & pitting on back. Mellow patina on handle. Scabbard in fair intact condition w/ dent, wear of leather near tip, patina on brass & strike marks on throat.
5) P.D. LUNESCHLOSS SOLINGEN MODEL 1871 REGIMENTALLY MARKED BAYONET WITH SCABBARD. Overall: 23 3/4". Blade: 18 1/2"; spine has proofs & "74" date. Double curved quillon crossguard & crossed out regimental mark "63.R.R.12.148". Brass bird's head handle w/ grooves on right side. Leather scabbard w/ brass tip & throat; throat regimental marked "120.R.E.4.246. CONDITION: bayonet appears to have been cleaned w/ leftover pitting. Throat piece is loosely fitted to leather scabbard. Scabbard has good black leather finish w/ dents. Brass tip has mellow patina. (02-16397-1/MD). $400-750.
