5-day Australia Moluccan Rusa and Axis Deer Hunt for One Hunter and One Observer
Hunt two of the South Pacific's most attractive deer species, the Moluccan rusa deer and axis deer, on this 5-day, 1x1 guided, hunt donated by Kingham Safaris Australia for one hunter and one observer. Method of take is rifle. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates April-September 2019 or 2020. Moluccan rusa are the smaller, rarer cousin to the Javan rusa deer. Originating from Indonesia in the mid-1800's, today they can only be hunted in a few areas of Australia. Kingham Safaris stags currently hold eight of the SCI Top Ten for rusa deer. Axis deer are called "chital" in Australia and are without a doubt one of the world's most beautiful deer. This is a tremendous opportunity for a hunting holiday in Australia with friends or family. Relax in the newly renovated lodge while taste testing the local game (including kangaroo), beer and wine and allow yourself to be hosted by Kingham Safaris' friendly family atmosphere. With thirty-five years' experience of guiding international hunters they can advise on all aspects of your trip. While on safari, see many famous Australian animals, such as the kangaroo, wallaby, koala and dingo. The 20,000 acres of mountain hunting area is home to all of these animals. Kingham is close to some of the most popular sightseeing destinations in Australia, including resorts of the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coasts and the Great Barrier Reef. Included with this donation are private room, en-suite accommodations, meals, 1x1 guide service, license, government tax, hunt/airport transportation, trophy fee for one rusa and one axis deer (best available) and field prep. Additional hunters are welcome for $550/day, 1x1 guided; observers $250/day.
