50 Caliber M3 AC 1953 Basic Machine Gun - Deactivated Aircraft Barrel PLUS
There is a RESERVE set on this unit of only $4600
On this lot we have a Deactivated M3 50 Cal Machine Gun.
This is what appears to be an Aircraft type M3 Aircraft type with air cooled barrel PLUS there is an
extra Shroud for the heavy barrel version..
Data plate on the side indicates Serial No 1L2707 1953.
The M3M is the version of the .50 caliber machine gun that is designed for manual firing. It is used
primarily on rotary-wing aircraft and has a higher rate of fire compared to its predecessors.
The M3 .50 caliber machine gun is visually similar to the M2 .50 caliber machine gun, but features
numerous important differences in most of the internal components.
As there were many differant versions, from electronic to manual firing, this particular gun looks like
the standard manual firing M3... Manual firing trigger system with the air cooled Aircraft barrel setup. The short extra
The additional Shroud is usually for the heavy barrel vechile mounted rigs.
Gun appears to have original black painted finish and presents very well
Does not cock and click and internals are welded up.
Exterior condition is very good and welds are not easily visable .
As this gun is large and very heavy ... So Pick Up is prefered as shipping will be very expensive and
difficult to pack.. However we will of course ship out to the winner if required.
The M3 served in many different aircraft models, spanning all four branches of service, until 20mm
and 30mm cannons usurped its position as king of air-related firepower.
While the role has diminished, the M3 still serves as a weapon system for several U.S. helicopter
designs.

When shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. We ship mainly at cost via Canada Post. We aim to have items out the door within 15 business days after auction close.
Please note that due to restrictions we will ship all Ammunition by courier Canada wide - No ammo can be shipped outside of Canada.. We will use whatever coourier serves your location and is the least expensive....
We are NOT responsible for damage during shipping. We don't guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.
Items over $200 will be insured and a signature 18+ is required (unless under $200 or going by letter mail).
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON LOTS THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP TO YOU.

CANADIAN BIDDERS: Firearms, Magazuines and Ammunition purchasers require a valid P.A.L. (Possession and Acquisition License). All restricted and prohibited firearms are registered with the Canadian Firearms Program and will be transferred to the purchaser following the completion of the sale and receipt of full payment provided the purchaser has the correct licensing documents.. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to determine that they have the correct category of license for the intended purchase prior to bidding. You will require a P.A.L. for all Prohibited/Restricted/Non-Restricted category firearms. No P.A.L. is required for Antique category firearms.
Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO. Ammunition and Firearms cannot be shipped in the same box.
Ammunition will now be shipped exclusively with UPS. We must ship Ammunition to your address on file with the CFO. Please ensure that you have a UPS delivery agent in your area prior to bidding, as UPS does not cover all rural areas. We do not ship ammunition to the USA.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver/ or you don’t have a valid license to possess will be sold at the next opportunity, any money paid by buyer will be forfieted..
As we are selling Firearms and Ammunition it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as shown on your PAL, PAL number, date of birth, the mailing address that is associated with your PAL.
U.S.A./INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:
Please be advised that we cannot ship any sort of firearm directly to USA or International buyers. Buyers must use a third-party exporter for these items.
We cannot ship receivers, ammunition, primers, magazines, primed brass, air guns or grenades to USA or International buyers. These cannot be shipped by us or an exporter. Do not bid on these items.

You have sole responsibility for your purchases. You and or your importing FFL will be required to file paperwork with BATF in order to be able to import an item. Please check with your FFL and/or BATF regarding import of specific items. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported into the USA. Note that any items that have been purchased but are deemed not importable/exportable will be forfited and no refunds will be given.
You have sole responsibility for your purchases. Please check with your governing body and Borderview to ensure your intended purchase is importable, as well as the third party exporter to ensure they will be able to export to your country, this should be done prior to bidding. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported Internationally.
If you are unable to complete the transaction within 6 months, the lots will be sold at the next auction. Any monies paid will be forieted.

A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall KOS Auctions or its associated companies be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental or consequential damages.
