6 Day 5 Night African Plains Game Hunt for 2 Hunters with Jannie Otto Safaris
This six-day, five-night 2x1 plains game safari offers a hunting experience for two hunters in central South Africa. The hunt takes place in a 100,000-acre designated hunting area, where over 30 plains game species are available. Participants arrive and depart via Bloemfontein or Kimberley airport.
The package includes six trophy species: one warthog, one common blesbuck, two common springbuck, one zebra, and one black or blue wildebeest, shared among the hunters. Included are the services of a Professional Hunter, skinner, and tracker for the entirety of the hunting experience.
Accommodation is at the lodge with staff, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily laundry service, and meals included. Trophy fees for the listed animals and field preparation of trophies are part of the package. Additional upgrades or extensions may be arranged at current outfitter rates.
Expenses incurred prior to and after the hunt, firearm clearance, trophy packing and shipping, gratuities, hotel accommodation before, during, and after the safari, as well as flights, are not included. Terms of Business apply.
Dates are subject to availability in 2026 or 2027 and can be arranged with the outfitter.
Included:
1. Accommodation, meals, soft drinks and day fees for 6 days and 5 nights for 2 hunters.
2. Trophy fees for only 6 animals as indicated (NOT trophy fees for 12 animals).
3. Full safari staff, including 2 PH’e with hunting vehicles, trackers, skinners and camp staff.
4. Field preparation of trophies i.e., skinning, salt, tag and delivery to local taxidermist.

2. Firearm clearance at certain airports @ $35 per firearm each way. This is not a JOS charge.
3. Liquor, beer, wine and mixes at cost price plus 10%.
4. Additional vehicles for larger groups.
5. 15% Value Added Government Tax (VAT) on value of package ($13,450 x 15%=$2,017).
6. Hunting licenses in certain provinces @ $60 each.
7. Rifle hire @ $50 per rifle per day, ammo at cost.
8. Additional trophies as per 2026/2027 price list.
9. Flights and/or hotel accommodation before, during and after safari.
10. Taxidermy and shipping.
11. Transfer fee from nearest airport to hunting concession and return, $500 per vehicle (max 4 people)

Additional Hunters are welcome at $600 per hunter per night, Observers are welcome at $250 per observer per night. This hunt can not be combined or run concurrent with any other donations from Jannie Otto Safaris or any other outfitter.

After purchasing your hunt, DSCNM will contact you and the outfitter with detailed contact information to start the process of making arrangements for you trip. It is still your responsibility to make contact with outfitter within 14 days of purchase, this connection is vital in ensuring you can take your trip in a, safe, timely manner and allows the outfitter the ability to make/offer travel arrangements should they be needed. Contact information will be provided within five days of your purchase and payment. The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC New Mexico will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC New Mexico may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. DSC New Mexico reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. DSC New Mexico reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through DSC New Mexico are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC New Mexico, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. DSC New Mexico does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. SERVICES: All services, hunts or otherwise, in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. The services in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. No services in the live auctions are to be or will be performed by DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, DSC New Mexico cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can DSC New Mexico be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. 9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSC New Mexico will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC New Mexico`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC New Mexico does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSC New Mexico may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
