Anyone who loves offshore fishing has dreamed of going to the world-famous Crocodile Bay Resort in Costa Rica. Here is your opportunity. Lynch Creek Travel has made this donation available to our chapter. This $7800 valued adventure includes fishing, rainforest visits and down time to relax. Your itinerary is as follows; Day 1; Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica (airfare not include). VIP airport greeting and transfer to Doubletree by Hilton with an overnight stay are included. Day2; Breakfast at Doubletree ground transfer to domestic air terminal and flight to resort are included with transfer to Crocodile Bay. Day 3; You pick if you wish to fish in shore or off shore on a 33-foot Strike Tower Yacht. The boat pier is only 5 minutes from your room. Boats are outfitted with top of the line gear and you are accompanied by a professional English-speaking crew. Daily fishing includes your CR fishing license, gear, bait, fuel and on-board cooler with picnic style lunch, snacks, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Day 4; is and open day to visit the OSA Peninsula which is described by National Geographic as the "most biologically intense place on earth." Today is your day to set out and discover some of its beauty and secrets. Eco-adventures and spa treatments may be added at additional charge. Day 5 is a repeat of Day 3 so if you went off shore after bill fish on day 3 maybe stay in shore on this day and target rooster fish, snapper and an assortment of other species. Day 6 is another free day. You can add another day of fishing, take in an eco-adventure, visit the luxury rainforest spa or lounge around the resort. Day 7; Resort check out and provided transfer back to the local airport for your trip back to San Jose. Upon arrival our transfer crew will escort you to the adjacent international terminal for the flight home. (To allow for required check- in times, please schedule your international departure from SJO anytime after 11:00am.)
The transfer package included with this donation makes for a seamless vacation. It includes ALL ground transfers from San Jose to the Doubletree and back, your 1-night stay at the hotel with breakfast in the morning, your domestic flight to Crocodile Bay and back to San Jose and once again ground transfers. Not included in the donation are international flights, meals in San Jose (other than breakfast), alcohol other than beer on boat and wine with dinner, or gratuities. Accompanying guests will receive an SCI 10% discount. This trip may be taken up to October 2022.
