An old school spot and stalk Cape Buffalo hunt on an expansive 100,000 hectare property, where your legs and mettle will be tested. Unforgettable experience hunting a mature buffalo bull up to 38” trophy size included (upgradeable at additional cost).
Join Jannie Otto Safaris on a 5 day dangerous game safari on property with 39 different hunt able species, with two of the “Big Five” in the area. Well over 170 square miles, you'll see more territory than you would on many free range / public land hunts in the US. You'll climb to a high point and look in all directions, and only see land you can hunt! This is not a "put-and-take" hunt by any means, there is a large population of buffalo on the property full time. They know where to run and where to hide.
This trip is for one hunter and one non-hunter in pursuit of on old dugga boy buffalo. Members of our chapter have hunted on this property and assure us the area is incredibly beautiful with expansive range, varied habit, and plentiful game.
This hunt is on a very special palce, Sandy MT. There are 34 different species on over 110,000 acres. The last game census showed over 7,000 animals on the property.
Jannie Otto Safaris has been in the business for 44 seasons. Conducting safaris in 5 different African countries. Making it possible to offer excellent, unforgettable experiences to all, from the “First Timers” to the Specialist trophy/specie collector. Their main objective is to offer an experience, support of our wild life, hunters, local people and conservation. Not just the killing of animals. No small hunting concessions, no “put and take, no captive bread lion but the “real experience”.
With add ons to places like the famous Kruger National Park, Chobe National Park Botswana, Serengeti National Park Tanzania and Victoria Falls Zambia, to expand the experience, just to mention a few.
Recently Jannie has hosted some very interesting and well know clients like Nick Hoffman of “Nicks Wild Ride Outdoors Program” Robbie Kroger“ Blood Origins” The Helix Program. They have also been working with the "City Kids” organization that takes young people out of the City into the wilderness of America. For the first time outside the borders of the USA, they brought some kids to visit during the season of 2024 and have continued to expand the program.

All items or trips are sold ‘as is‘. Chapter does not make or express any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the item or hunt or trip’s description, genuineness, attributions, provenance, or condition. Any warranties with respect to items, hunts or trips are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder
It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
