You can start 2019 with a freezer full of free-range organic bison meat. An average BC bison weights between 550 and 900 lbs, and stands about 1.8 meters tall – these are big (and delicious) animals!
Endre Pipics of Besa River Outfitters offers this 7-day, 1:1 bison hunt to this year’s auction. Conscientious game management has helped maintain healthy wildlife populations in Besa River Outfitters’ area. Today they have a good reputation for success, client satisfaction, and quality of trophies.
Snowmobiles will be used for transportation and cabins will be your accommodation. The hunt can be upgraded to include a wolf for the cost of the tag. Additional hunters can join you for $8,000 USD, and non-hunters can participate for $200/day. Licenses, tags, royalties, CITES and HPF are not included. Transportation from Fort St. John to Nevis Camp and accommodations in Fort St. John are also not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder.
Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter.
Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
