This is a 7 day hunt (7 full hunting days) for Canadian Moose (1x1).
During your moose rut hunt in October, we call the big bull moose out into the meadows or spot and stalk them in the high alpine. The moose rut hunt can be camp based in the wilderness on horseback, accompanied by a trusty pack horse that hearkens back to the days of early explorers. Or it can be a lodge-based moose rut hunt by 4x4 vehicle and foot, stalking and calling along the old logging areas.
Our Traditional Canadian Moose Hunts in November are hunting lodge-based in the centre of our guide outfitter territory. Here in British Columbia, moose are yarding up in their wintering grounds in the back end of the mountain valleys. Bull moose are in bachelor groups, resting after the rut. We spot and stalk the bull moose by 4×4 and snowmobile to access wintering grounds.
Possible add-ons are Mule Deer, Black Bear and Wolf.
Included: Accommodation in historic hunting lodge with private rooms and en-suite bathroom or rustic mountain cabins and spike camps, meals and non-alcoholic beverages, transportation during hunt and your own licensed professional guide.
Tax, tags and licenses are not included.
Ground transportation from/to Vancouver can be arranged for USD 600/return.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is Gold Bridge, BC. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
BCTMO reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
BCTMO reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
