7 Day Eastern Montana Archery Elk Hunt
This donation is for a 7 day archery Elk hunt in Eastern Montana. This hunt is conducted on the same properties as our deer hunts. Elk permits are on a draw and must be applied for by March 15. We will know the results by mid-April.The elk hunting here is one of the best areas in the West.Bulls have the potential and genetics to reach the magical 400 inch mark.Most of the bulls we take are in the 320 to 360 range. Lodging is in our nice home and meals consist of a light early breakfast, hot large brunch late morning and hot family style meal after the evening hunt. You will have 1 guide for each 2 hunters.Hunting is done from blinds, tree stands, spot and stalk, or calling (archery season is during the rut). Archery hunts have been running 100% opportunity and 80% success. You make this a deer/elk combination hunt by adding the deer tag to your license. An additional $1000 will be charged only if you harvest a buck on your hunt. Fly into Billings Montana Airport and we will pick the hunters up there. The dates for this hunt are September through mid-October. Can be taken 2015 or 2016. Visit the outfitter at his booth for specific dates for this hunt.
