7-Day New Brunswick Black Bear Hunt
Hal & Janet Kilfillen from Salmon River Bend Outfitters have donated a 7-day black bear hunt for one hunter. This hunt is to be conducted in May/June of 2022 with the possibility of 2021 if openings are available. Travel to camp in Chipman, New Brunswick and chase the bear of your dreams. Included is lodging, meals and guide service. Not included is transportation to Chipman, accommodations before and after the hunt, license ($200.00) firearms permit ($25.00) and gratuities. There is a $75 skinning fee if you wish to have them skin your bear. A second bear may be added at the trophy fee of $1,000.00. Additional hunters may join you at the listed rate and a non-hunting observer may be added for $799. Fishing for trout, chained pickerel and yellow perch is also available during down time. On average bear sightings are 95% - 100%. Bears are hunted over baits and baits are checked daily. Having over 100 bait sites and relocating to virgin forest every two years gives hunters the best opportunity of scoring Boone & Crocket. Some permanent stands are available for all rifle hunters. Stands are 20 - 50 yards away from the bait: bow hunters stands are 12 - 22 yards away from the bait. Additional hunters are always welcome and encouraged so take your friend or spouse along for extra fun. LVSCI sends a huge THANK YOU to our friends up north. This hunt is donated in memory of Bob Fiss a longtime client of Salmon River Bend and a devoted member of LVSCI.
