More than 130 members of the Michigan Chapter of SCI have had the privilege of hunting with Hendrik Botha at Matwetwe Safaris over the past 20+ years. This hunt will be no different. A great opportunity to experience the thrill of a lifetime hunting at night. For those experienced hunters that have hunted Africa before OR for the first-time adventurer that wants to fulfill his lifelong dream. The hospitality, good food and luxury accommodations are all common knowledge amongst those who have had the privilege to hunt with Matwetwe Safaris. One of this year’s donation is a 7-day, 1x1 or 2x1 hunt for 1 or 2 hunters & 1 or 2 non-hunters. Included in the hunt are all daily fees and trophy fees for 1 Steenbuck or Common Duiker, 1 Genet Cat, 1 Porcupine and 1 Black Backed Jackal. This hunt can be upgraded to add more hunters, non-hunters, and additional trophies per the outfitter’s price list. The hunt will take place at the Matwetwe Safari main camp in the Limpopo Province of South Africa in either 2026, 2027, or 2028. Your hunt will take place on foot and in a vehicle. Skinning, salting, caping and trophies delivered to shipper/taxidermy are included. Also included will be your license, permit fees, meals, and accommodations. Other information: Hunt can be upgraded to include more hunters, non-hunters, and trophies. See current trophy fee price list. Trophy export and taxidermy not included. Trophies will be delivered to Shipper/Taxidermy. $500 booking fee required to lock in hunt date that will be applied as credit on the hunt. Arrival day (8th night) not included @ $180 per person. Airport pickup/drop off fee not included @ $300 per group of 4 per trip. Hunting party will NOT be required to leave camp if trophies are taken early on hunt. Rifles can be rented. If own rifles are used, suggested procedure for importation are recommended. Please come and meet Hendrik & Harm Botha in the Matwetwe Safari booth.
