7-day Sitka-Blacktail Deer hunt
Kodiak Safaris and the Rainy Pass Lodge, Alaskas oldest hunting lodge,
is donating a fantastic 7-day Sitka-Blacktail Deer hunt for 1 hunter. Hunt dates are to be arranged with the Outfitter for the year 2022 (if available) or 2023 or 2024. This 2-on-1 hunt and includes camp accommodations, meals, guide, trophy fees for one Sitka-Blacktail Deer, including field and trophy preparations. The hunter is responsible for license ($160) and tag ($300) fees and can use the weapon of choice. Each hunter will be assessed a $150 Hunter’s Preservation fee. The arrival point is Kodiak, Alaska, and from there a special transportation charter is required at a cost per person currently at $750RT. Additional hunters are welcome ($7,500), you can bring a friend or the outfitter will par you up 2x1. The hunt can be upgraded to
include other combos (Bear, Dall Sheep, Moose, Caribou and Wolf) at the outfitter’s price list(with the full value of this hunt being applied to any hunt of greater value, including Kodiak Brown Bear or at the Rainy Pass Lodge!). A second Sitka-Blacktail Deer can be purchased for a trophy fee of $1,000 plus Tag. Steve and Denise Perrins have been guiding and outfitting in Alaska for over forty years and have been keeping the wild Alaska hunting tradition alive. Auction items not paid in full this evening will be resold or in the event of non-payment of any hunt,
cancellation will result.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to 1) contact the outfitter within 30 days after this event, 2) obtain proper licenses and permits and 3) arrange times and dates with the outfitter unless otherwise stated.
Items have a “value” stated for them. This is the customary charge made by the outfitter for this service or the retail price of goods which are offered, but is included here for reference purposes only.
In the event of a “tie” between bidders, the auctioneer may reopen the bidding between the two high bidders only. The person whose bid was not personally taken by the auctioneer will be the first asked to increase the bid, and the bidding will continue.
No goods sold at auction have been inspected by the Arizona Chapter of SCI and bidders are advised to exercise proper care before their use.
The goods covered by this auction are sold as is with all faults and defects and without any express or implied warranties on the part of the Arizona Chapter of SCI, including but not limited to, warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.
