Shawn Raymond of Yukon Big Game Outfitters has donated a 7 day
Yukon Wilderness Black Bear Hunt for 1 hunter for the spring
of 2022 or 2023. The hunt will be conducted in Shawn's
massive area (largest in the Yukon), using Jet Boats on the
river. Once the bear has been spotted, you land the boat
and stalk in on foot. This method of hunting black bears is an
experience in itself. The hunt will be scheduled for prime time
around May 12th, 2022 or 2023. Dates to be confirmed with
outfitter. You will be allowed to harvest 2 Black bears, as the
Yukon has a 2 bear limit. Shawn's area holds a high percentage
of color phased bears.

Success rate in the past is near 99% with this method of
hunting the bears, as the boat gives you the flexibility to cover
a large amount of Shawn's area. You can harvest a Grizzly
bear for a harvest fee of 10,000 Canadian, if you come across
one. Success on Grizzly in the spring, is around 70%, as
they are always roaming the shorelines, looking for food. The
Yukon is the only place in Canada were you are allowed to
hunt grizzly bear. License and tags are extra at $260.00 as
well as a government harvest fee of $157.50, plus GST.
The bears in the Yukon are awesome hunting, and you will
have an adventure that you will not forget. All lodging and
food is included in the hunt, and Shawn's guides are some of
the best.

Please give Shawn a call to discuss this hunt, and make
plans to be in the Yukon in the spring , for an adventure of a
life time. Other hunters can be along at regular rates. Shawn
also guides for Alaska-Yukon moose mountain caribou,
stone sheep, wolves and wolverine. Shawn can give you
all the information on those hunts if you want to experience
the Yukon in the fall. Johnny Fidler hunted with Shawn this
past fall, and got an excellent moose, and got in on one of
the largest inland Grizzlies the guide had ever seen, but
unfortunately, he was a she, and had a cub with. Experiencing
the Yukon was on the bucket list, and it did not disappoint.
Bid high on this hunt, you will not regret it.
