Love Bros. & Lee, offers this exceptional fly-in fishing trip! The pristine wilderness of northern British Columbia is the setting for this fly fishing adventure in pursuit of wild, rainbow trout! These great fighting fish average about a pound each and are offered on catch and release basis (except for what you eat for lunch, of course). Fisherman may expect to catch 50 to 75 fish a day. It is common to see moose feeding in the river and to observe a variety of birds ranging from Mergansers to Yellow Warblers. This is fishing at its best! Fishermen may try an array of flies including muddler minnows, adams, wolffs, wooley worms, nymphs and hornbergs, etc. (Please, no hooks larger than #7s.) The successful bidder will be guided on about 8 miles of the stream by boat and will have the chance to fish all types of water from fast riffles to deep, quiet pools. Camps are fully equipped. Rustic log cabins have bunks, foamies and wood heaters. Just bring your sleeping bag, waders, fishing equipment and personal gear! Hot showers with a “river” of water are available. Large home-cooked meals are served daily. Shore lunches with the tantalizing aroma of fresh trout baking on the coals are daily fare. This eight-day, fly-fishing trip is tentatively scheduled for July-August 2022 or 2023 with the mutual agreement of the outfitter. Fishermen are responsible for the cost of a fishing license and tips. The trip arrival and departure point is Smithers, British Columbia.
