1 Hunter, 7 Full hunting days in the Limpopo province of South Africa with a $3,000 credit towards a Sable Bull OR a Roan Antelope.
This outfitter only takes 1 group at a time to spend quality time with. They offer a one-on-one experience for the group as a whole. They are a family operated business so their kids are involved with the hunting experience and connection with each guest. Their son 11 helps with packing the cooler boxes, skinning, setting up pictures, handing out snacks, barbecuing and contribute to a lot of wonderful campfire stories. Their daughter, turning 7 this week helps pack lunches, sets tables, hunts with the groups appropriate for her all whilst being barefoot.
They have a vegetable garden to provide to home cooked meals. Little Johan grows corn, pumpkin, tomatoes etc, Vilandri grows beans, strawberries (desserts) and more. They also raise our own chickens that contribute to meals. They do all of these thing together as a family and this provides for the lodge a wonderful nutritious meal for each guest along with the game hunted that week. They process all of our game meat after each hunt and when there is surplus it goes towards the workers and old age homes and orphanages. They teach their kids the value of life and where food comes from.
They feel its a wonderful thing to interact with each group on a personal level. They hunt hard for quality trophy animals with their hunters, have a cold beer at the end of the day and pray for every meal that has been provided. This is what they are.
Besides the hunt, they have a lot of other things in our area. They have a big 5 game reserve 10 miles away to do big 5 game drives, elephant back safaris, cheetah feeding programs and they usually take their guests to have lunch at one of our local restaurant on the backroads for an authentic local experience. One retaurant overlooks the world famous 19th hole golf course, Hanglip mountain and the other, just down the road from them proves a unique look into the South African culture.
They also have in addition to the hunt a bunch of sightseeing tours you can add. They do trips to Kruger National Park, Botswana Chobe tours and Victoria Falls, Fishing excursions, Panorama tours of ‘God’s window, waterfalls and mountains and more. Just contact them when getting ready to book, or now if you have questions before bidding.
Accommodation means en-suite rooms, warm cosy beds, air-conditioning, fresh towels and more. Meals are prepared fresh daily consisting of local cuisines but prepared like old fashioned Sunday dinners. Their cook, Catherine has been with them many years and always leaves the groups wanting her recipes which she hands out with a warm heart and a big smile.
Johan is a one in a million father, husband, guide and outfitter. His knowledge of the African bush and animals are impeccable. He is not just a professional hunter and Outfitter but started off as a field guide after getting his diploma in Nature management. He goes out with a positive attitude to get the best possible animal and more. Whilst taking a group out he will stop and talk about birds, trees, insects, grass and so much more. He will stop at a waterhole to have the golden hour sunset pictures with a beer to enjoy the moment.
They love what we do so intensely and want every group to enjoy the experience as much as possible.

Any warranties with respect to items, hunts or trips are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
