Graham Sales Safaris Pty. Ltd. has the exclusive hunting rights on South Africa’s largest provincial nature reserve – Songimvelo Nature Reserve (the film “The Ghost and the Darkness” was filmed on the Reserve). Songimvelo Nature Reserve received “World Heritage” status during 2018. Graham Sales also has the hunting rights to the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve which shares a common open boundary with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve forms part of the Greater Park area, which allows free movement of game across 432,000 acres of land. The area is made up of Mopani bushveld, acacia shrub, watering holes and riverbeds that attract a huge variety of game including elephant, buffalo, zebra, Blue Wildebeest, kudu, and several other antelope. These, in turn, attract several predators, such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, which makes this a popular choice for a ‘real’ African wildlife experience.
Songimvelo Nature Reserve is South Africa’s largest Provincial Nature Reserve and forms part of the Songimvelo-Malolotja Transfrontier Conservation area, a peace park located south of Barberton, in the south-eastern part of the Mpumalanga Province on the South African - Swaziland border. The incredible beauty of its range of mountains, which forms one of the oldest regions on earth, with incredible volcanic and sedimentary rocks, examples of which are exceeded only by those found in Greenland. Rolling hills, hidden valleys, wide open plains and forest ravines support an incredible
diversity of wildlife, plants and habitats. Along the valley floor winds the Komati River, after which it flows into Swaziland and to the Indian Ocean.
The grassy plains of Songimvelo Nature Reserve are home to herds of Buffalo, Blesbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Impala, Red Hartebeest and Zebra whilst within the wooded and hillside areas one will find Bushbuck, Giraffe, Kudu, Mountain Reedbuck and Elephant.
Clients will experience a free-range safari with Graham Sales Safaris. Their tented Safari camp is located on the banks of a dry riverbed which adds to the whole African Safari experience. Each tent is equipped with an ensuite bathroom as well as a deck for you to lounge
on, overlooking the Komati River.

All items or trips are sold ‘as is‘. Chapter does not make or express any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the item or hunt or trip’s description, genuineness, attributions, provenance, or condition. Any warranties with respect to items, hunts or trips are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder
It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
