ALEXANDER ARMS ELITE ULFBERHT RIFLE.

Cal. 338 mag. S# AA-ULF20 43. Bbl. 27.5”. The +ULFBERH+T rifle was designed to be a unique piece of weaponry unlike anything manufactured at the time. Its name derives from a small line of ancient swords that were uncharacteristically strong for the period they were manufactured in. In order to stick with the original inspiration, the design often found on these swords appears on the rifle as well. The effective range of this new design was intended for distances reaching 2,000 yards. Owning the title of 2015 Rifle of the Year, the mechanism was based on the Russian DP-28 belt fed machine gun. It boasts an adjustable gas system and a unique operating system where the bolt runs twice the length of the cartridge to help minimize recoil. The goal was to have such a light recoil impulse so that the operator could monitor his own impact to adjust the follow up shots without the necessity of a spotter. It weighs in at 19.8 pounds unloaded to further minimize recoil. The forged receiver is manufactured from 9310 steel alloy with a dark black Melonite finish. It utilizes a hard anodized aluminum top cover and hand guards that give the shooter 26” of real estate for optic mounting. The barrel is a fluted 1:9.3” twist with 6 groove deep Enfield patterned rifling made of 4150 chrome-moly with a matching Melonite finish. It is terminated with M18x1.5 threads and a 3-prong compact flash hider. The trigger is a Geissele SSA 2 stage 4.5-pound model and it feeds from a proprietary 10 rd. double stack magazine. The safety selector is located on the left side above the Ergo Deluxe pistol grip in a familiar fashion to the black rifle. Right side folding Magpul PRS2 adjustable stock. Right side reciprocating charging handle. No sights. MAGS: 4 -10 rd. factory. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a heavy duty fitted foam lined lockable transport case and paperwork. CONDITION: all outward aspects indicate very little use if any. No noticeable finish wear aside from gentle thinning on the surface area directly below the charging handle which happens almost immediately. Bright bore with strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (22-268/JZ). MODERN. $4,000-5,000.
