ASSORTED MAUSER STOCK LOT.

This lot consists of six various Mauser stocks two handguards, & two forends. 1. the first stock is a German Kar98a stock w/ bayonet lug, recoil lug & buttplate. The right side of the butt has faint Imperial proofs. The stock is numbered "2692" in the bbl. channel & on he left side above recoil lug likely indicating Spanish use. Left side of stock has a faint Weimar 1920 ownership marking. CONDITION: this sanded stock shows both sides of wrist show a flexing crack running into sling cut, a couple smaller cracks, some staining, dings & handling marks. The reblued buttplate & bayonet lug show some oxidation & dings. The stock disc shows light pitting. 2. The second stock is an Israeli beech K98k stock. The stock appears to be unmarked & no metal hardware is present. CONDITION: this stock shows some scattered handling marks. 3. the third stock is another beech Israeli K98k stock. This stock appears unmarked & no metal hardware is present. CONDITION: This stock shows some dings & handling marks. 4. the fourth stock is a Yugo M48 stock. No metal hardware is present & the left side of the butt is numbered "77784". CONDITION: stock appears cleaned w/ a couple chips at rear of butt, some handling marks & scattered finish lost. 5. the fifth stock is a postwar Czech K98k stock w/ handguard, bandkepper, bayonet lug, both barrel bands, recoil lug & buttplate. The right side of the stock is marked w/ a circled "Z" & "MK-2". The left side of stock & both sides of buttplate are crudely numbered "2640" in a small font. CONDITION: There is a triangular chip at toe of the stock, the stock & handguard otherwise show scattered dings, finish loss & handling marks. 6. the sixth stock is a Brazilian 08/34 stock w/ handguard, sling hardware, recoil lug, buttplate, bayonet lug & both bands. This stock is numbered "1616N" & has a Brazilian marking on the right side of the butt. CONDITION: the stock set shows scattered finish loss, dings & handling marks. The metal parts are a brown patina w/ oxidation throughout. The two forends are loose & appear to be broken or duffel cut. They both have nosecaps. CONDITION: one forend shows chipping at rear, both have finish loss, staining & handling wear. Both nosecaps show scattered oxidation. (02-16809-4/MJC). $150-300.
