The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is pleased to offer One 2019 DM795 Moose hunting permit for a Qualified Disabled Veteran or a Qualified Disabled Active Duty Military Member.
In conjunction with this tag, the SCI Alaska Chapters Wounded Warrior on Safari Program will provide reasonable funding for travel within North America, meat processing and shipping to the person who is awarded this hunt.
ADF& G Requirements and Information:
Qualified Veteran's and Active Duty Military ONLY: Purple Heart recipient AND certified 100% service-connected disability. Proxy hunting is not allowed for DM795.
The DM795 moose hunting permit is in Unit 20D of the Delta Junction Game Management Area. Only 6 Moose Hunting Permits are issued for this Area.
DM795 is open to both resident and non-resident hunters. In Alaska non-residents are NOT required to hire a guide to hunt Moose.
Please Note! Any Bidder may purchase this hunt for qualified Disabled Veteran or a Qualified Disabled Active Duty Military. The Alaska Chapter of Safari Club International will proudly work with the winning bidder (if needed) to select a qualified application of their choice to reward this tag!
This hunt is for qualified Disabled Veteran's and Qualified Disabled Active Duty Military ONLY: Purple Heart recipient and military physician's affidavit stating 100% service-connected disability or Purple Heart recipient and is certified by the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs as having incurred a 100% service-connected disability.
Season dates for DM 795 is September 1 - 15, 2019.
Legal Animal: One moose every 4 regulatory years, taking calves or cows accompanied by calves is prohibited.

Online Live Auction Policy
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”). All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase. If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
SCI-AK is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-AK has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-AK does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-AK donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-AK with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-AK within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-AK does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is”, including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of SCI-AK or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-AK and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-AK and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-AK or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
SCI-AK reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
