Enjoy mountain hunting for Dall Sheep/wolf by horseback. This is a fully guided 1 on 1 hunt, during the prime of the sheep-hunting season from August 14th to 25th, 2019 or 2020. Sheep in this area are abundant and increasing, tags are guaranteed. Wolf tags are no charge. Hunt can be upgraded for Mountain Grizzly and/or Alaskan/Yukon Moose if so desired hunt dates would then shift dates to accommodate Sept 1st opening of moose/grizzly season. The hunt involves a lot of time in the saddle to cover country to find trophy rams with quite a bit of glassing the high country in this mountainous country. Hunt will take place in GMU 20A in the Alaska range on the Yanert Fork drainage, east of Denali Park and south of Fairbanks. The wide river valley is gorgeous with a massive glacier at its head. Hunter will fly from Fairbanks to camp with 10 full days of hunting. This hunt will be guided out of our comfortable base camp, with the option of spiking out for several days at a time to cover even more remote country, if you desire. This area produces good rams in the 37-40" range every year, bull moose up to 70", and 8½ foot grizzly. Mountain caribou are also available on a drawing basis. Hunter is responsible for $1,000 air taxi from Fairbanks to camp and return, hunting license/tags and expediting for trophies. Caribou can be applied for in December and added to your hunt for an extra $4,500, if successful in the draw. 2019 dates may be available at the time of auction please contact outfitter A.S.A.P. Hunting License $170, Dall Sheep $850, Moose $800, Grizzly $1000, Caribou $650 and wolf no tag fee.
