Safari Club International, Kenai Chapter and The Alaska Department of Fish & Game are proud to offer the Alaska Governor's SB470 brown bear permit (same as DC470) for 1 hunter.
The Alaska Department of Fish & Game only issues 15 permits in the Alaska Chugach State Park Area. This area has excellent moose and fall brown bear hunting area and this a great permit to combine with your fall moose hunt.
GMU, Area Unit 14C, Chugach State Park Management Area:
Residency Restrictions: Hunt available to both Residents and Nonresidents non-resident brown bear hunting must be guided
Hunt Area: Those portions of Chugach State Park in the Peters Creek, Little Peters Creek, Thunderbird Creek, upper Ship Creek (upstream from JBER and excluding Tokle Creek drainage), Indian Creek, Bird Creek (excluding Bird Creek Regional Park), and upper Eagle River (above Icicle Creek) drainages. Chugach State Park prohibits discharge of firearms and bows within ½ mile of the Seward Highway and trailheads. Basic Hunter Education is required.

Hunts and Fishing Trips will have a certificate identifying the details of the trip purchased with contact information included. Buyer will be responsible for any costs related to shipping of products pertaining to the auction item they have purchased. Your Credit Card will be charged shipping charges, if applicable, once the shipping costs have been determined.

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”). All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
• The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase. If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
• It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
• SCI-AK is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
• SCI-AK has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-AK does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
• All donors provided notice on the SCI-AK donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-AK with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-AK within 12 months of the auction date.
• SCI-AK does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
• A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
• Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
• The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is”, including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of SCI-AK or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-AK and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
• The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-AK and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-AK or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
• The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
• SCI-AK reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
