Alaska-Yukon Moose Hunt
Blackstone Outfitters has donated a 10 day one on one Alaska - Yukon Moose hunt in the Ogilvie Mountains in Northern Yukon. With 30 years of experience in the Guiding and Outfitting industry Blackstone Outfitters have been in this area since 1999. This rifle only hunt will run September 25th through October 4th 2016. The hunt can be arranged to be taken in alternate year 2017. You will be hunting from horseback or river/float trip and staying in cabins or tents. This hunt can be upgraded and animals that can be added are Caribou, Grizzly, Wolf (2) and Wolverine. A CITES permit is required for the Grizzly and Wolf. A $400.00 license, tags and hunter preservation fee is the responsibility of the hunter. The Government trophy fee ($150) is also not included in the donation. A Firearms Declaration, (weapons permit) is required for this hunt. Arrival and departure point will be Whitehorse, Yukon and will require overnight stay before and after the hunt at approximately $175.00 per night. Hunter will also be required to pay $1300.00(CND) for Charter plane to be transported to the hunt area. There may not be a better opportunity in the North to obtain a record book Alaska-Yukon Moose. Huge tracts of outstanding moose country in the Blackstone area remain untouched. Give this one a second look!
