The Ultimate Alaskan Big Game DIY Float Hunt from Takco Outdoors!

This hunt is offered for two hunters, for the month of August or early September with availability for 2027,or 2028. Additional hunters can be added for $11,500, and this hunt can be upgraded to a combo hunt in 2027 for an additional $2500.
Whether it’s a velvet Caribou or Alaskan Moose we can accommodate your dreams! The wolves and potential black bears are just the icing on the cake. If an adventure of a lifetime is on your bucket list, then look no further than this float hunt in the Pristine Brooks Range where every bend in the river can hold the treasure you're looking for. This adventure is for you. 10 -14 days in a raft with you and your best hunting partner or partners. After an extensive conversation of goals, abilities, animals, and most importantly the amount of country you'd like to experience, we will recommend a river for you. This hunt is priced as a 2-person hunt, others can be added through consultation with Takco Staff at their current prices. At Takco, we believe in quality over quantity and not overcrowding rivers to give you ample time to harvest your animals, so let's have a conversation or two and ensure this is the right trip for you!
A full list of all your trip requirements based on our firsthand knowledge will be provided, including gear recommendations. Who, how, and where to handle your meat, and trophy information is also provided. Also included is information on the ability to ship your gear to AK ahead of your trip to save the hassle of airline baggage.
Trip includes your float gear along with one flight into your starting point, your exit flight back to Fairbanks, and 1 meat flight which will handle 1 moose or 4 caribou.
Also your hunts include lodging at a Air BNB house, that has a hot tub! This package includes 4 nights of lodging 2 on the front side, and 2 on the backside generally is what we recommend.
Any additional meat flights is paid by the hunter at $3,500.00 and paid directly to the pilot at a time of need. Not included are your commercial flights to Fairbanks, hotels and meals, permits, locking tags and additional gear you need for your trip.
Current regulations permit the taking of 10 wolves, 2 Caribou, and 1 moose per hunter.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid plus 5% Buyers premium and 3% service fee. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC Utah Chapter will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC Utah Chapter may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. DSC Utah Chapter reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. DSC Utah Chapter reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through DSC Utah Chapter are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC Utah Chapter, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC Utah Chapter. DSC Utah Chapter makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. DSC Utah Chapter does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. SERVICES: All services, hunts or otherwise, in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. The services in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC Utah Chapter. DSC Utah Chapter makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. No services in the live auctions are to be or will be performed by DSC Utah Chapter. DSC Utah Chapter shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, DSC Utah Chapter cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can DSC Utah Chapter be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services or merchandise acquired by the high bidder at the auction, DSC Utah Chapter shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSC Utah Chapter will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC Utah Chapter`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC Utah Chapter does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSC Utah Chapter may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
