This is a 6 day, hands on trapping experience that includes building and prepping snares, baiting, setting up wolf baits and snare sites, harvesting fur, and skinning and boarding pelts. Animals targeted include: wolves, coyote, fisher, marten, lynx, fox, otter and beaver, depending on time of year and conditions. Calling coyotes and wolves is possible if the opportunity arises. There is a $1,200 trophy fee for wolves. Travel is mainly by snow machine and truck. Furs harvested are available to take home with you at market value. Lodging is in a modern lodge with comfortable queen size beds, large bedrooms, full bathroom, shower and WIFI. Included in this donation are lodging, guide, field transportation, hearty home cooked meals, and non-alcoholic beverages. Not included are; tanning and shipping of skins, transportation from Edmonton to Whitecourt, Alberta and wolf/coyote license and wildlife certificate, (approximately $85). This trip is scheduled to take place Dec 1 to Feb 15 in the 2018-2019 season. Please see Trent in his booth for more information on this exciting adventure.
