Savage Bighorns Ltd. conducts hunts where the SCI Record Book’s Top 5 Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep have been harvested! Your trophy could be the next addition to the SCI Record Book if you are the high bidder for this 14-DAY/15-NIGHT BIGHORN SHEEP HUNT INCLUDING TROPHY FEE for ONE (1) HUNTER (1:1) in 2019 (Available hunting dates September 17-30 and October 2-15 or any 14 days within those dates). You will be hunting with rifle, muzzleloader or bow west of the Caroline Lodge, about 2-hour drive. These areas are primarily wilderness, a bighorn mecca as it is one of the hardest areas to access in the Southern Alberta bighorn range, thus producing big mature rams. The Famous Banff National park always harbors large mature rams that frequent these areas, making it Alberta’s top pick for harvesting a Large Alberta Ram with Gun or Bow. The area speaks for itself! Chad ‘Savage’ Lenz and his guides are world famous in the sheep world for putting bow hunters and rifle hunters on sheep!! This area is in Savage’s own back yard and he first hunted the area at the age of 18! That’s 27 years of sheep experience. Nonresidents are guaranteed tags with no draw through Savage Encounters! You may upgrade for wolf ($500 for license/fees and $1000 trophy fee), additional hunters ($50,000), observers($350ea/day) and hunting days ($700/day). Includes: 14 days guided hunting, 15 nights’ wall tent accommodations (hotel upgrade available for $200/night), meals and non-alcoholic drinks, trophy fee for one (1) Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, field prep, transportation during the hunt. Not included: trophy prep and transportation to shipper, transfers from Edmonton airport ($200 each way - or you may rent a car at the airport), license/weapons permit ($1200), other permits ($25), GST tax ($450), upgrades, tips and gratuities.
