Antique Colt 2nd Model ''New Line 32'' Single Action Spurtrigger Revolver, #10718, .32 CF cal., 2.25'' barrel with blade front sight, marked with maker's name and ''Hartford, CT U.S.A.'' on top, etched ''Colt New 32'' on left side, and stamped ''Pat. Sept. 15, 1874'' beneath; long-fluted 5-shot round cylinder; solid frame is marked ''32 Cal'' on left, has a long top sighting-groove, integral spurtrigger sheath and ''bird's head'' grip straps two-piece finely checkered hard rubber grips with ''Colt'' in a panel at top. Mfgd ca. 1873-84, originally with blued barrel and cylinder, case hardened frame, hammer and trigger. Condition is fine+. Barrel and cylinder retain approx. 75% deep original blue; frame, hammer and trigger retain 85% strong case colors. Grips retain sharps checkering and Colt logo with the tiniest bit of highpoint wear. Edges and markings are sharp but for the barrel caliber etching, which is mostly indistinct. Action is jammed; bore is brilliant with sharp rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)
